WILLIAM SCHRATZ

I am a graduate of the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) with a Bachelors's degree in Kinesiology, with a Specialization in Exercise Science. With exposure to individuals of varying professions and levels of education, I have been fortunate to see what the field of kinesiology can offer and how impactful working with people can be. I am passionate about health and helping others do the same. This shows itself in my hobbies and volunteer work. In my spare time I love to ski, hike, cycle, rock climb, and surf; anything that gets me outdoors, being active and having fun.

 

For the last 2.5 years, I have had the opportunity to be the lead student trainer for the UFV Men's soccer team which is allowed me to gain experience in injury prevention, rehabilitation and improving human performance. I intend to continue my education through physiotherapy, athletic therapy, or chiropractic school. Though, with exposure to so many different professions, I am also intrigued by other career paths such as research, human performance, and teaching!
